 Cremation Options
Cremation has become an increasingly popular
and affordable burial option. Cremation involves placing
the deceased in a special chamber inside a crematorium, and
incinerating the body at a high temperature for several hours,
until the remains are reduced to a fine white powder.
Should you choose cremation, Windsor Memorial
Gardens Cemetery features an on-site crematorium. Cremations
can be performed before, during or after a service, or without
formal procedure. Should you desire a service during the cremation
process, we have a viewing room that is suitable for formal
ceremonies, upon your request.
Windsor Memorial Gardens offers a wide range
of plans and locations for the entombment of “cremains.”
Traditionally, the cremains are stored in urns and we offer
a handsome selection for your consideration.
Niches for memorializing urns are available
on the inside of our columbarium as well as on the outside
walls. In addition, we are proud to offer this region’s
only glass-fronted niche facility – a truly unique tribute
to your loved ones.
Another option for your consideration is one
of our tranquil cremation gardens which are available in both
of our cemeteries.
